With recent developments inside the Los Angeles Lakers organization as reports suggest things aren't well in the team's locker room, different rumors having the front office firing coach Darvin Ham have started the conversation on which head coach should be his replacement.

Fans have started to ask for a Lakers 2020 champion Rajon Rondo, as many of his teammates including Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Austin Reaves have praised his high IQ and considered him a mentor figure.

Rondo has also recently opened up about wanting to become a head coach, and fans are already pressuring the front office to look at the former Lakers guard as a true option if they decide to get rid of Ham.

“I definitely do want to get into coaching… I’ve built a lot of great relationships with team & coaches in the past so who knows what the future holds” Said Rondo in a recent interview.

LeBron James thinks Rondo is one of the most cerebral players

“Rondo is one of the most cerebral players, one of the smartest players I’ve ever competed against.” Said Lebron James on his 2020 teammate.
