The Los Angeles Lakers want to win it all this season, and despite being back on winning, the team is still away from their objectives and now has made a new signing to get coach Ham more help in the team's roster.
With information via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski: "The Lakers are signing guard Skylar Mays to a two-way deal. Mays has played for the Hawks and Trail Blazers in his NBA Career."
This follows the other recent two-way signing and the team waiving D'Moi Hodge and Alex Fudge. The only two-way player that has continued in the team since the offseason is now Colin Castleton.
Fans are hoping for Mays to be an underrated signing. Recently the team also sent Maxwell Lewis and Jalen Hood-Schifino to the South Bay Lakers, so the front office is making his job ahead of a bigger trade.
Ham and the Lakers managed to snap their four-game losing streak with an impressive home victory over a hot Los Angeles Clippers team on Sunday. The Clippers were riding a five-game winning streak going into the matchup and owned an 8-2 record over their last 10 games. The Lakers, conversely, held a 2-8 record over the same span.
