The only disappointment from the LA this Thursday night was the loss to the Denver Nuggets in what was an emotional day for the Lakers Nations as it was the Kobe Statue's ceremony but got spoiled because of the lack of victory in a key game.
Today, in the second leg of the back-to-back the Lakers have this week, the team is facing the New Orleans Pelicans but didn't have the greatest start as the team trailed after the first quarter but with the worst news to coach Ham after the first twelve minutes by Anthony Davis.
AD is healthy, but after just one quarter, the Lakers superstar is already at half of the chances he has to foul before becoming fouled out. Anthony could be fouled out before the game ends as he is the team's best defensive player.
D'Angelo Russell is showing tonight against the Pelicans that he was missing to help the team get the win over the Denver Nuggets one day prior but the point guard had a left knee soreness that prevented him from playing.
The Lakers have 3 more games before the break, including tonight (NOP), then Tuesday the 13th (DET), and Wednesday the 14th (UTA). The first game after the break is Thursday, Feb. 22 (GSW).
