The Lakers are hosting tonight their game vs. the Heat with some notable absences by both teams

In what is set to be a must-win game for the Los Angeles Lakers to be back on the winning side record-wise and not keep falling in the season and Western Conference Standings, tonight the team will be hosting a tough game against the Miami Heat.

Both teams will have some notable absences that are set to change the game for better or worse. For the purple and gold, three players won't be available which are Gabe Vincent who continues to be out due to his left knee surgery, Rui Hachimura who has a left calf strain and just announced: D'Angelo Russell who has a tailbone contusion.

Anthony Davis and Cam Reddish are both probable while LeBron James continues to be questionable and probably will be an on-game decision before the match vs. Miami starts.

In the case of the Heat, the most notable confirmed absence is their best player Jimmy Butler who is out for tonight's match and the Lakers coached by Darvin Ham should get an advantage from it despite their absences.

Despite his coming off-the-bench role, Austin Reaves is all about winning

Austin Reaves, asked about continuing to come off the bench as the Lakers have changed their starting lineup, said “Winning is all that matters … whatever that role is, I’ve got to go do that to the best of my ability.”
