At halftime, the Lakers were leading the game against the Golden State Warriors 68-63 but in the first minutes of the first quarter the Dubbs were able to turn things around and LA is now trailing by 14 points in what is becoming a disastrous 3rd quarter.
One of the highlights of the game was the face-off of one of the biggest NBA rivalries in the history of the league, LeBron James against Stephen Curry. As fans get to appreciate the greatness of their matchups.
We won't get too many more of these matchups … truly two of the GREATEST. After two quarters and a half, LeBron James has scored 18 points, 7/13 FG, 2/4 3PT, 2/2 FT, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
While Stephen Curry has scored 21 points, 8/13 FG, 5/10 3PT, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists. LA is now trailing and isn't looking good at all after they were dominating most of the first half. In less than six minutes they could've tossed to the trash tonight's game.
“I think just helping the team get wins. I have a lot of fun out there whenever I’m making shots like that,” Russell said after the win over the Chicago Bulls. “I have a lot of fun doing it, so just trying to showcase it. It’s contagious, I think everybody kind of started shooting with that confidence a little bit and it just makes us that much harder to guard. My confidence is through the roof right now and I’m gonna keep it there. It’s always good to have that.”
