Austin Reaves just had one of his best performances in the NBA to lead the shorthanded Lakers, without LeBron James, Anthony Davis to later lose Jarred Vanderbilt, to beat the best team in the NBA with all their stars.

The Lakers have shown that is not the roster the problem but coaching, now that they were able to play free, with even coaching by LeBron and AD who were on the bench, the team got to beat Jayson Tatum and co.

Reaves scored 32 points with 10/18 FG, 7/10 from 3 to have a career-high from that distance, and 5/7 FT with 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and one steal.

D'Angelo Russell and even Jaxson Hayes got impressive performances with both scoring 16 points each, in the case of the point guard, he had 5/20 FG, 4/8 3-PT, 8 rebounds, 14 assists, and 2 steals. Hayes had 6/8 FG, 4/5 FT, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and a great night overall.

There was still bad news as Jarred Vanderbilt left the game injured

The injury comes at an especially unfortunate time considering that Vanderbilt has been playing extremely well in recent weeks. He got the start in James’ pace against the Celtics and in 16 minutes before getting injured, he had 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
