The Los Angeles Lakers will be facing for the fourth time in the season the Phoenix Suns but it will be without one of the key players in the last two victories as the center Christian Wood has been announced to be out for the game.
Earlier today, ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported: "Christian Wood, who has been a valuable contributor to the Lakers’ rotation the last few games, has been downgraded to questionable with a migraine headache tonight against PHX, per the team."
But just minutes ago, NBA insider Jovan Buha has now reported the Lakers announcement that Wood will actually be out which is set to be a low blow for the team as they are looking to get their third win in a row.
Buha wrote on his X account: "Cam Reddish is playing vs. Phoenix. Christian Wood (migraine) is out". So the bad news is Christian is out, the good news, is Reddish will be playing.
With Christian Wood now out for tonight's game, the center Jaxson Hayes could receive an opportunity that he needs to not waste and bring his best game to help the team get their third win in a row.
