This season hasn't been what the Los Angeles Lakers were expecting as many players have been in and out because of injuries and Darvin Ham has been saying that they haven't been able to build chemistry or be in a better position after 35 games in the season.

But the reality is that without many of his players, Ham was able to win the In-Season Tournament and become the 5th seed in the Western Conference, but once the team started losing, that excuse continued to grow. After the loss to the Miami Heat, a team that also had many absences including their best player Jimmy Buttler, Ham said "We can't find any consistency until we get healthy. It's as simple as that."

Loss after loss, Darvin's excuse is they can't win because they don't have their whole roster, but the team's stars Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves have a different point of view.

Austin Reaves and Anthony Davis said that the team needs to win, no matter how many players are injured, and that they can't use that excuse, which shows how the locker room is broken with different mindsets.

While Ham blames injuries, Miami Heats head coach Erik Spoelstra refuses to use them as an excuse

Unlike Darvin Ham who says the team can't find consistency with three players out due to injuries, when Spoelstra was asked about injuries, he had a much different reaction than Ham. "I don’t care about that,” Spoelstra said when asked about injuries. “I don’t care about that.”
