LeBron James has been often considered to be the NBA's GOAT, despite being part of what seems to be an endless debate between the Lakers star being the number one and the Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.
Something similar has happened in soccer between international superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi. While many believed LeBron thought Ronaldo was the soccer's GOAT, a recent interview for ESPN's Dave McMenamin revealed that Messi is the GOAT.
Lebron James: "Seeing, the GOAT of soccer, Lionel Messi grace the MLS with his great presence is a game-changer for us. His arrival not only elevates the league but also inspires a new generation of soccer fans in our country."
"It takes an unparalleled dedication, work ethic, and talent to achieve what Messi has, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for him. I'm wishing all the best to him." Said James.
LeBron was on Messi's US debut and the two superstars embraced each other before the game started, showing the massive respect the athletes have for each other. Many believe LeBron is the NBA's GOAT and Messi is the Soccer's GOAT.
