For the second stint, the Lakers paid 2 million with a vet minimum contract and Schröder became one of the best coming off the bench players for the team, helping on clutch time.

Dennis Schroder has now revealed the real reason why he rejected the massive offer as he says his former representation advised him to reject the Lakers’ $84M offer: “I would have signed it. I would never just leave money on the table. My mom didn’t raise me that way.”

In his second stint, Dennis was helpful in the team's being able to turn the season around, especially with closing games as he was one of the best clutch players for the team that made it to the 2023 WCF.

The Lakers fans now want Schröder back as he is unhappy in the Toronto Raptors

Lakers fans want to see Schröder back as he is reportedly having a bad time with the Toronto Raptors. With information via Michael Grange: "Dennis Schroder reportedly wanted to lead his team and was unhappy about coming off the bench in Toronto before the Immanuel Quickley trade." GM Rob Pelinka could use that discontent to make a trade for Schröder now that the team urgently needs a guard like the German star who in the summer led his National team to win the FIBA World Cup.
