For the LA Lakers, the game against the LA Clippers was critical as they desperately needed a win, not only because of their 4-game losing streak but they were already under .500 with a 17-19 record with a 3-10 record since they won the In-Season Tournament.

The Lakers got a great opportunity to start getting back on track, as the LA Clippers aren't only their city rival but one of the contending teams for the Western Conference, a victory was necessary for more reasons than one.

LeBron on how necessary this win was from a morale perspective: "It doesn't fix everything. But it helps. But we gotta still learn from the wins more than we learn from losses. ... We have to learn from the mistakes we had tonight, which we had too many still."

LeBron James also spoke on how Darvin Ham has managed the team's recent ups and downs: "By just staying and trying to keep us prepared when it's time to go out and for battle."

Christian Wood believes the win over the Clippers was a significant

In the post-game presser, Christian Wood, when asked about the significance of being from LA and getting the win over the Clippers, the center responded: "Real significant, especially beating the Clippers. Both teams want to be the best team in LA."
