The Lakers are back on track after falling to the Golden State Warriors, with LeBron James back on the court, the team was able to beat the San Antonio Spurs in the second game of the back-to-back this Friday night.
One of the standouts for the game was the spectacle shown gave by Anthony Davis, and LeBron James as the Spur's rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama who continues to be the best player in his first year in the NBA.
Wembanyama has often been compared with LeBron James, despite both being completely differently shaped physically, the comparisons have been regarding their talent, and skills but especially the hype around them before they arrived in the league and how they behaved in their first year in the NBA.
While Wembanyama is doing pretty great so far on a personal level, as the Spurs are one of the bottom teams in the league, LeBron has praised Wemby saying that "He doesn't have a ceiling," but also gave a reality check saying "Let's not get it twisted, he's not the first guy who's had an impact as a rookie."
Darvin Ham on Wemby: "The thing that impresses me the most about him, he's uber talented, multi-faceted highly skilled. ... But his biggest trait and quality that you can't teach or coach is his competitive nature."
