The Los Angeles Lakers may have won their last game, but their struggles haven't been fixed and still, they are looking to make a trade that helps them address some of their issues and helps make the group a serious contender for the 2023-24 NBA title.
Kyle Kuzma was part of the 2020 Lakers roster that took the win in the bubble and has been rumored to be pursued by LA's front office. The door was closed in the offseason as Kyle signed an extension around 100M but now the Wizards are reportedly looking for a trade and have revealed their "price."
With information via Sam Vecenie, the Washington Wizards are seeking 2 1st-round picks for Kyle Kuzma: “League sources peg Kuzma’s current price tag to be something in the vein of two first-round picks or equivalent value. I’m skeptical another team will meet that price, so we’ll see if the Wizards have any wiggle room or if the marketplace substantially changes before February.”
At the moment, the Lakers are more focused on addressing their backcourt and want to sign a guard, one of the most rumored names has been Dejounte Murray the Atlanta Hawks star who has a similar price but negotiations are set to be ongoing.
It's not much but the Los Angeles Lakers are 20-21 at the midway point of the season, one game better than last season's 19-22 before the now famous moves in the trade deadline. AD had 27 points, 15 rebounds and five assists. LeBron James had 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.
