The Los Angeles Lakers got another huge win this week and now they have a two-game winning streak against two of the best teams in the East and the league. The team is now back over the .500 with a 26-25 record.
Magic Johnson was present at the Madison Square Garden and got excited by the impressive performance by LeBron James and the rest of the roster.
Magic wrote on his Twitter: "It was fun for me to be in the electric Madison Square Garden to watch the Lakers get a win over the playoff-bound Knicks 113-105! Austin Reaves’ 22-7-6 and LeBron James’ 24-5-5 were two strong all-around performances, but four other Lakers were also in double-digit scoring!"
"I love to see the Lakers on a two-game win streak! I hope to see them take care of business in the next couple of games…first against Charlotte on Monday and then Thursday vs. the Nuggets as they get ready for Kobe Bryant’s statue unveiling!"
Anthony Davis says he was just trying to "put my imprint on the game" on the possession that he had back-to-back blocks. "Just trying to make plays. My shot wasn't there offensively so I just tried to focus on the defensive end."
