For this season, Anthony Davis was set to become the team's face as LeBron James continues to be part of the LA Lakers but 39 years old isn't supposed to carry the team's heavy load anymore, now that's the job of AD with the team.

The Lakers have been struggling this season but they seem to finally be finding their foot in the campaign as now they have two impressive wins in a row against good teams like the OKC Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks.

D'Angelo Russell scored 29 points, Anthony Davis 28 points and LeBron James had 26 points which helped the team to get a blowout win with consistency now being part of AD, which has been the point most NBA media have criticized of the big man, the Lakers legend James Worthy has now praised the star.

The showtime era legend James Worthy spoke about Anthony Davis and how he is now the face of the team: "He knows it's his team right now." Worthy has hinted at how Davis now is getting used to being the lead of the LA Lakers.

D'Angelo Russell believes the Lakers have a deep roster

“We’re just a deep team, so being able to utilize all the guys is our special power.” D’Angelo Russell speaks on the importance of team production and finishing strong before the road trip coming up.
