The Los Angeles Lakers are trailing by 6 points at the end of the first quarter after an impressive close by the Clippers with Russell Westbrook trying to get back on his former team, still, the game has been close with Anthony Davis being the best purple and gold player.

The purple and gold are having a road game at home as the Clippers and they still share the Crypto.com Arena. Anthony Davis is leading the Lakers with 10 scored points at the end of the first quarter.

Clippers are leading 35-29 at the end of the first quarter with AD being the best player of the Lakers with D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves still away from showing up.

D'Lo and Reaves need to step up their game as the team has been affected by LeBron James' absence. After an 11-0 run from the Clippers dominating the Lakers record-wise, this season things have been different as the Lakers have beat them twice and tonight are looking to get their third win over their city rival.

Darvin Ham spoke on LeBron James' injury situation

With information via Spectrum SportsNet reporter Mike Trudell: "Darvin Ham said LeBron, who’s out tonight, is “day to day” moving forward. They’re trying to be proactive with his ankle/health. The Lakers are 2-2 in the games he’s missed. They’re expected to start Reaves, Russell, Prince, Hachimura, and Davis in LeBron’s absence."
