The Lakers may not have their best player on the court tonight but they still led by six points against the Utah Jazz at the end of the first quarter thanks to Rui Hachimura and Anthony Davis as both stars have scored 10 points each.

With a 34-28 score to end the first quarter, the LA Lakers are continuing with the great performances they have showcased in the last stretch showing they want to continue to trend in the right direction.

Being the second leg of bac-to-backs, missing five players, including LeBron James, the team may be shorthanded but continue to show they have a deep roster that once they are fully healthy no one will want to face.

Austin Reaves has also been great having scored 8 points, with only Taurean Prince being the disappointing piece of the starting lineup but the wing had to start the game with players missing like Jarred Vanderbilt, Max Christie, and now LeBron James.

The Lakers players missing tonight's game vs. the Jazz

Max Christie with right ankle sprain, LeBron James with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, Cam Reddish with right ankle sprain, Jarred Vanderbilt with right midfoot sprain, and Gabe Vincent with left knee surgery are out.
