Darvin Ham is finally giving some continuity to his starting lineup

Finally, the Lakers coach Darvin Ham is betting on continuity as he will be sticking with the same starting lineup he used in the win against the OKC Thunder, which is the same five players that were on the court in the season opener against the Denver Nuggets.

Following several struggles, the Lakers are going back to basics, and while many fans believe there's still a player who shouldn't be a starter but coming off the bench, this is set to be a good move from Ham that could benefit the team in their attempt to turn the season around.

D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, Taurean Prince, and Anthony Davis are the starting lineup that helped get the win against OKC, most of them scored in double-digits except Taurean who only scored 3 points in the 33 minutes of playtime he got.

Ham explained the reason why he is sticking with this lineup: "Wanted to put as much skill and shot-making around our captains and those guys have been our most consistent guys. And for the foreseeable future, that's gonna be our lineup."

Christian Wood has been a valuable player coming off the bench

Over his last 4 games, the Lakers big man has averaged 12.3 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 1.8 BPG 2ith 55/43/100%. Also, since coach Darvin Ham gave the center an opportunity, the team is 3-1 in the last 4 games he's played in.
