The Los Angeles Lakers won't be firing coach Darvin Ham soon, and while fans are waiting for a trade to happen between now and the trade deadline, the front office has started to shake up things as they have just waived the Two-Way rookie Alex Fudge.

There's a reason the front office led by GM Rob Pelinka waived Alex Fudge, they made space to sign another player with a two-way contract, as the team has space for three two-way players. This means that at the moment D'Moi Hodge and Colin Castleton will continue playing for the South Bay Lakers and the LA Lakers when needed.

With information via ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "The Los Angeles Lakers will waive Alex Fudge to sign Dylan Windler to a two-way contract, sources told ESPN. As Adrian Wojnarowski first reported, LAL is bringing in the 6-6 wing who has shot 37.8% from 3 in his G League career."

Adrian Wojnarowski reported: "G League G/F Dylan Windler has agreed on a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Windler had a 23-point, 33-rebound performance on Friday for the Knicks’ Westchester affiliate."

Ja Morant spoke about the significance of beating the Lakers at LA

“We haven’t won here in a while. This is the team that knocked us out of the playoffs…This was a big-time win for us that we can carry the momentum from this game into our next game," said Ja Morant in the post-game presser.
