Anthony Davis is set to be the Los Angeles Lakers superstar that will lead the franchise to another NBA title, and while shots aren't his strength, his free throws and 3-pointers in key moments can make the team win or lose, it has happened before.

In Tuesday's night win over the Toronto Raptors, Anthony Davis had the final two free throws of the game that became key for the team to get the win, as the Raptors shot and scored a 3-pointer in the last second that could've tied things up or even got the win if AD has missed one or the two free throws, instead, the purple and gold won thanks to the superstar converting the two shots.

But that hasn't always been the case, as Anthony Davis has missed that kind of shot before, in the post-game interview, AD spoke on whether some of his previous late-game free throw misses flashed through his mind at all:

"No. I know what you're talking about, Boston last year, Philly. But no. DS was talking to me in the last two, he said 'the pressure is on now.' So I wanted to make them on purpose with no rim. I didn't want to hit the rim. One of them did. But Nah, I feel very confident stepping up to the line, in any situation and make free throws to put the game away. So nothing went through my mind."

Anthony Davis is grateful for role players like C Wood for helping them get wins

“C Wood is someone who was out of the rotation and stayed ready for his next opportunity. We told him to stay ready for his number. He’s scored 14 off the bench, and has played some good mins off the bench.” Said Anthony Davis on Christian Wood helping as a role player for the team.
