The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling with injuries this season, but one of the key players that has been the most affected is wing Jarred Vanderbilt who missed the first twenty games of the season, and now just when he recovered his best game, was injured again, with reports saying it could end the season for him.

But despite the recent reports that had the possibility of a season-ending surgery, The Athletic's Jovan Buha has reported the good news of not being that worst-case scenario: "Jarred Vanderbilt has been diagnosed with a right mid-foot sprain, per the Lakers. He will be re-evaluated by the team in approximately 3-4 weeks."

Jarred Vanderbilt is the team's best perimeter defensive player, and only behind Anthony Davis as the best defender of the roster. To make things bad for the team, the other two Perimeter defensive players are also out as Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish haven't been available for a while.

At least, Vanderbilt is set to return in about a month, which is the best news following the concerning report of the possibility of a season-ending injury. Jarred will continue his path for a full recovery and hopefully could be back to help the team close the regular season and a potential playoff run.

Thursday night the Lakers not only will be hosting vs. the Nuggets
