Alex Caruso has been one of the first rumored Lakers targets ahead of the trade deadline, alongside Chicago Bulls stars Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, despite nothing concrete has happened yet.

The Lakers Nation would love the return of Alex Caruso as he was a key factor on the team's backcourt in the 2020 NBA title in the bubble and now that he has been rumored to be back as a possible Lakers target, the Lakers fans are losing their minds with the possibility of a team backcourt with Caruso and Austin Reaves.

Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso is in his third year with the Chicago Bulls, and he has elevated his game this season while being linked to the Lakers at times.

LeBron James showed him some love on social media for a play he made in the Bulls’ blowout win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday."Nasty bro!!!" Wrote LeBron James on an IG story.

Alex Caruso is one of the Laker's many targets at the trade deadline

While the Lakers have several rumored trade targets who are point guards or ball-handling guards, they could also use a wing player who’s capable of stymieing opponents while spacing the floor on offense. As long as Caruso keeps up his hot 3-point shooting, he would fit that description.
