LeBron James, Liverpool's part-owner final words to Jurgen Klopp's departure

The football soccer world has been shaken by the announcement of Liverpool FC's manager Jurgen Klopp who will be leaving this summer the team that was able to take it to new highs in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

The news of Jurgen Klopp's decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season was delivered to the players before training Friday morning; the fans and the rest of the world found out shortly thereafter via video message. He had informed Fenway Sports Group, Liverpool's owners, back in November, so that they could start thinking about succession.

One of the owners of Fenway Sports Group is the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, who besides being one of the greatest basketball players of all time is also a great businessman and sports lover who last year was able to join the billionaire club, some part of it is thanks to the revenue he receives from the Liverpool FC, as he also has released some exclusive sportswear with Nike for the club.

This Friday, Klopp made the announcement. "I am, how can I say it, running out of energy," Klopp said. "I have no problem now obviously. ... I am fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again. After the years ... we spent together and after all the things we went through together ... the least I owe you is the truth -- and that is the truth."

The Lakers superstar took his X account to write the following message as a part-owner of Liverpool FC: "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AND MORE!! You are one helluva manager and you’ll never be forgotten and more importantly, YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE!! The Reds will miss you!!"
