The NBA All-Star 2024 has come and gone with many fans of the league left disappointed especially after the contest where the East won but the players clearly didn't bring their A-game and just played because they had to.
Damian Lillard was the MVP of the game and following the win of his team, he was asked about his starting five using only current NBA players and without any surprise, the Lakers superstar LeBron James was part of it.
What surprised many is that his current teammate and one of the runners for the MVP race this year, Giannis Antetokounmpo wasn't part of it as Lillard has himself, Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Bam Adebayo as part of his lineup.
At 39 years old, LeBron James continues to impress as he has been dominating the league for twenty years and counting and it doesn't seem to stop as he is still playing at his best on his year 21 in the league and has led another NBA All-Star game.
"I am a Laker and I'm happy and been very happy being a Laker the last six years and hopefully it stays that way," James said. "But I don't have the answer to how long it is or which uniform I'll be in. Hopefully [it] is with the Lakers. It's a great organization, so many greats. But we'll see."
