The Lakers got Malik Beasley in the now famous trade between the LA Lakers and the Utah Jazz that got D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Malik Beasley, with the latest being known for being a sharpshooter. The purple and gold gave away Russell Westbrook.
Once Beasley arrived in Los Angeles Lakers, his 3-point shooting was nowhere to be seen as his productivity fell and the team passed on re-signing the shooter in the recent offseason.

The Lakers signed Taurean Prince, to get help in the 3-pointers area, a role that Malik Beasley got and was supposed to change things but failed to live up to his reputation from 3.
Malik recently revealed he rejected a 6M offer from the Lakers to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks trying to become a starter and win the regular season.
