Coach Darvin Ham is finally figuring his team out and has decided to give opportunities to different players, one of them is the sophomore Max Christie who by getting more playing minutes has started to help the team after some initial stepbacks.

Christie has become part of the team rotations and a helpful role player even when not always making a significant difference but his 3-point shots have made him a valuable coming off the bench player.

Max isn't a starting-caliber player yet but he has been closing games for the team and that has given some confidence to the young guard who is still in development and has a bright future within the franchise.

The young guard spoke on how he is feeling about the opportunities he is getting as he said: "It felt good to be out there when it mattered the most." Max scored 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in 18 minutes of playing time.

Anthony Davis is grateful for role players like C Wood for helping them get wins

“C Wood is someone who was out of the rotation, and stayed ready for his next opportunity. We told him to stay ready for his number. He’s scored 14 off the bench, and has played some good mins off the bench.” Said Anthony Davis on Christian Wood helping as a role player for the team.
