Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, and more Lakers talked about how the team needs to start 2024 with a win, but it seems that only speaking they can get high energy as the team is trailing by 8 points after a disastrous first half against the Miami Heat that doesn't even have their best player on the floor.

Coach Darvin Ham sent back Austin Reaves to the starting five, but it hasn't helped despite the guard having a good first half and being the second-best Laker of the night with 11 scored points only behind Anthony Davis who has scored 12 points.

LeBron James hasn't been his best self in the first half as he has only four points scored with 4 rebounds and one assist. To make things worse for the team, LA has had 15 turnovers which explains how the team hasn't been able to make a comeback in the game after the first two quarters.

Cam Reddish and Taurean Prince have shown they shouldn't be on the starting lineup as they haven't scored a single point in the first half. Injuries continue to affect the team as D'Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura and Gabe Vincent are all out of tonight's match.

Max Christie has been a solid player against Miami

With 10 scored points, Max Christie has surprised everyone as he has been the third-best Lakers player of the night and he has been even better than LeBron James in the first half.
