Dillon Brooks has been the Lakers and LeBron James "villain" since the 2023 playoffs and this season so far

Dillon Brooks and LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers once again gave one of the worst performances of the season against the Houston Rockets, coming from one of their best wins over the Golden State Warriors. Dillon Brooks, the Lakers and LeBron's villain of the last couple of seasons had a great night vs. LA.

Earlier in the season, LeBron James got high praise from the Houston Rockets star Dillon Brooks, who in the 2023 playoffs was a big antagonist for the Lakers and their superstar, when he was playing with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Still, Brooks has continued to trash-talk LeBron James, who is often quiet on that and prefers to speak on the court, but Brooks finally had a good night against the King as the Lakers had a blowout loss to the Rockets.

LeBron James, who credited Dillon Brooks' competitive nature earlier in the year, did not care to speak about him tonight in the post-game interview at the locker room just saying 'next question.'

AD believes Dillon Brooks should have been ejected

Anthony Davis said he believed Dillon Brooks should have been ejected first for his run-in with Jarred Vanderbilt and later for his hit on LeBron James. The Rockets forward wasn’t disqualified for either sequence.
