ESPN's Stephen A. Smith is now to be harsh on Anthony Davis despite thinking the big man is a great player and earlier today in ESPN's First Talk gave him some flowers, still, the analyst believes another player is the one that is currently leading the MVP race of this season and is not Joel Embiid.

Smith said that he can't dismiss the Lakers' title hopes as the team is bouncing back in the campaign, and with recent history as proof, with most of the same group making it last season to the WCF, the team could repeat some of that success, plus he said that Anthony Davis has been a "superstar."

For Stephen A. Smith, the Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum is the one that is leading the MVP race as he continues to be great and the team is currently the best in the league at the moment and a lot has to do with their best player.

Anthony Davis recently stated that he believes that by now he deserves some personal awards, but his mind is currently in the team getting as most wins as they can and ultimately winning the NBA championship title this 2023-24 season.

Anthony Davis and Rui Hachimura did something with the Lakers that only Shaq and Kobe did before

In the game against the Utah Jazz, the duo of Anthony Davis and Rui Hachimura did something that AD and LeBron James haven't been able to accomplish and that is to score 35+ points each in the same game, something that hasn't happened in the Lakers since Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal did it.
