Not Austin Reaves, the Lakers potential trading package for Dejounte Murray

We are in trading season and while coach Darvin Ham and his players want to focus on continuity, on tonight's game against the Brooklyn Nets and continue on the winning path, rumors and reports of upcoming trades persist to surfaced.

Dejounte Murray has been the player that the NBA media and insiders talk the most about being the main focus for the team to make a trade for, even when D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves are having a great moment.

NBA insider from The Athletic's Jovan Buha has spoken about the Lakers and Hawks negotiations on a potential framework of a deal surrounding Dejounte Murray. This deal doesn't include fan-favorite and reportedly to be untouchable Austin Reaves.

The framework would have the Los Angeles Lakers receiving Dejounte Murray while giving D'Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2029 first-round pick, and additional draft compensation.
