One of the most anticipated signings in the offseason, at least for the Los Angeles Lakers fans was Cam Reddish, who worked some games thanks to his defensive skills, but the reality is that he has been far from what is expected of him.
The Lakers had 7 losses in 8 games from 12/18-1/5. Over that stretch, Cam Reddish logged 211 mins (26 mpg) and shot 18-56 (32%) for 46 total points in 8 games.
Many believed Reddish shouldn't be starting or getting that much playtime over other players like Max Christie who has shown to make a bigger difference, especially shooting from 3.
The Lakers are looking to make a trade and the fans believe that neither D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, or even Rui Hachimura should leave but Cam Reddish, the problem is, not many NBA teams are pursuing a trade for the vet min player.
With information via ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "ESPN sources with @wojespn: Los Angeles Lakers F Cam Reddish could miss a few games with left knee soreness. Reddish has averaged 6.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 33 games. He’s started 26."
