The Los Angeles Lakers landed the point guard Spencer Dinwiddie in the NBA's buyout market, and fans have been hyped about it with GM Rob Pelinka showing aggressiveness on getting a deal done, but a Lakers player has revealed he was the one that recruited the PG and not, it wasn't LeBron James.

LeBron James is usually the player that many fans believe has input on building the team's roster and recruiting some players, this has earned him the nickname of LeGM. But this time, Christian Wood revealed himself as the one to have recruited Spencer Dinwiddie.

Christian Wood posted on X: "My recruitment worked... I should be GM welcome to the show gang @spencerdinwiddie." Then, Widdie shared the post with the shaking hands emoji, showing it is true and no cap by the Lakers big man.

It seems that Spencer Dinwiddie will land with the right foot in LA. Wood, D'Angelo Russell, and other players have shared their excitement to see Spencer as their new teammate and a new Lakers point guard.

LeBron James spoke on the team having different ballhandlers

“But obviously we got a lot of ball handlers too so the ball is not always in my hands, which is OK. AR handles the ball, DLo handles the ball, AD handles the ball. I think with Skylar’s minutes he’s even handled the ball and done well too. Tonight worked well for us and I was happy that guys were able to finish.” Said LeBron. The team got another ball handler with the addition of PG Spencer Dinwiddie.
