The Los Angeles Lakers currently have a 3-game winning streak and are looking to increase it tonight with the extra motivation of Kobe Bryant's statue unveiling when they face the current NBA reigning champions the Denver Nuggets.

LeBron James recently opened up about the change coach Darvin Ham made of sending Taurean Prince to have a coming off the bench role, after being helpful in 3-point shooting but fitting better as a role player and not a starter.

Instead, Rui Hachimura finally earned a spot in the starting lineup, while Jarred Vanderbilt is out due to an injury that will have him absent for three to four weeks. LeBron opened up and spoke about liking the change of playing alongside the Japanese wing.

“We’re big,” James said. “We have a lot of length, a lot of athleticism. Rui works well with us and we’re just trying to find him, especially when he’s running out and has early seals in the post or whatever the case may be, mismatches. So he works well with us.”

The Lakers won't see a change in their roster as the trade deadline came and went

The trade deadline is finally here and after a lot of rumors, speculations, and more, the Lakers stood pat and kept their entire roster as it is. Reports have that GM Rob Pelinka is thinking of going big in the summer, like they usually say, to do the same each year of having smaller moves.
