Last year's offseason was forgettable with Patrick Beverley being the biggest signing of the summer, which predicted a terrible start of the 2022-23 season, and it did happen as the team had a 2-10 record to start things.

Pat Bev didn't last long as the team traded him for the Orlando Magic's Mo Bamba, but the former Lakers point guard started to change the narrative saying he was the one who requested the trade, despite one day before being hyped with his possible reunion with former teammate D'Angelo Russell only to be traded the next day.

One of the players who arrived in Los Angeles at the trade deadline in the moves that helped to turn the season around was Malik Beasley who wasn't capable of being consistent with his 3-point shooting, the reason the team didn't re-signing.

But Beasley has now said he turned down a millionaire offer by the Lakers to sign with a potential champion. "Malik Beasley says he turned down $3-6 million offers from the Mavericks and Lakers and decided to choose Milwaukee for a starting role and championship potential" via Chris B. Haynes."

Dejounte Murray is reported to be of great interest to the Lakers

Zach LaVine and Dejounte Murray continue to be rumored to be of Lakers interest to be traded for this season. Nothing set in stone has been set but the team is looking to replicate what they did last season.
