The Los Angeles Lakers are set to have at least one move ahead of the NBA's trade deadline and one of the rumored targets has been the Chicago Bulls Andre Drummond. If Pelinka wants to land the player, the cost has been revealed.
"Acquiring Andre Drummond might require three second-round picks, and there could be a team willing to offer a first-round pick," Wrote Chris B. Haynes.
The Lakers are set to have a smaller trade or even have been reported to be thinking of keeping their roster as it is and hope for their players to recover from their injuries and see how far they can go, especially after having a 3-game winning streak.
D'Angelo Russell has often been reported as the Lakers' main trade piece ahead of the NBA's deadline, but now it has been rumored to have played with his latest improvement performances out of trade talks.
A recent report by NBA insider Bill Reiter says: "Sources tell @CBSsports that a complicating factor on whether or not the Lakers acquire an impact player in the next 24 hours is the belief within the organization they could have a chance to acquire Donovan Mitchell this summer. Knicks also could be in play."
