For years, probably since the 2020 NBA championship title the LA Lakers won, the franchise has been hurting from 3, as players have come and gone and the problem continues to be present and one of their biggest issues in their pursuit of another title.
This year's new signing Taurean Prince has been another disappointment, as he said he wanted to shoot 40% from 3 but has been shooting career-low numbers instead, something that has happened to different players.
Last season, a similar case happened to Malik Beasley, who is now helping the Milwaukee Bucks with his 3-point shooting while in LA he didn't. Because of all of that, a young Lakers guard is practicing his 3-pointers.
NBA insider Jovan Buha of The Athletic shared a video where Max Christie can be seen working on 3s post-practice. This is something that the guard is trying to do to help the team more and get more playing minutes as coach Darvin Ham continues to side him from the main team's rotation. Max is ready to shock everyone and give the team the 3s that they need.
Darvin Ham says that Anthony Davis’ early foul trouble altered the rotation and led to him playing Max Christie later than he had planned. This statement had Lakers fans scratching their heads. Darvin continues to be the weakest part of the team.
