One of the biggest requests from the Lakers fans has been to bring the black mamba uniforms back, the ones they used during the NBA's 2020 season that ended with the championship title in honor of the late Kobe Bryant.

Their wish is now coming true as the LA Lakers have officially announced the uniforms are back for this Thursday, Feb. 8 for the unveiling of Kobe Bryant's statue and the game against the NBA's reigning champion the Denver Nuggets.

Fans now are looking forward for the team to beat the Nuggets to be a completely memorable night in honor of the Lakers legend Kobe Bryant who is arguably considered the best player in the purple and gold franchise history.

Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and D'Angelo Russell have recently spoken about Kobe Bryant and his legacy. The Lakers star has praised the legend and said can't wait to see the statue this Thursday night.
