Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks

With 3 minutes left in the clock of the second quarter of the Lakers vs. Mavericks game, Los Angeles has a 5-point lead thanks to great performances by Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

Austin Reaves had a low start with only 2 points, but he needs to appear more and finally has started to make a difference as he now has 7 scored points. Taurean Prince remains to be the Lakers starter who isn't on the same level as the rest of his teammates.

Christian Wood has been a key role player for the Lakers to get 3 wins in the last 4 games for the team, but tonight he hasn't been able to make a difference in either of the sides of the court. So far Wood hasn't scored any points, needs to step up his game with Reaves.

The Lakers head coach Darvin Ham has bet on continuity by repeating the starting lineup that helped the team get the win over OKC Thunder. D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, Taurean Prince and Anthony Davis are set to take the victory over Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

The Lakers prepared their game thinking on Luka Doncic

Doncic returned after missing three games, but coach Darvin Ham didn't speculate and prepared the game having him in mind. At the moment of writing this article, Doncic has scored 20 points, showing why he is the best player of the Mavs.
