The latest Cam Reddish injury update isn't what Darvin Ham was hoping for

Cam Reddish

Cam Reddish continues to be one of the players who has been in and out on the floor this season due to different injuries. LA continues to struggle through the first half of the regular campaign, currently sitting as the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 19-21 record.

Injuries have played a major role in the different struggles the team has been dealing with. Coach Ham hasn't been able to manage them correctly and has used them as an excuse for not finding continuity and correctly developing chemistry.

Reddish injured his knee during the Lakers’ recent win over the Toronto Raptors, being forced to leave the game late in the fourth quarter. The wing was able to play in each of the Lakers’ next two games against the Phoenix Suns and bJazz although, on both occasions, he played in the first half and was not able to come back for the second half.

It appears with new information by ESPN's Dave McMenamin that the forward is expected to miss some games with his knee injury: "ESPN sources with @wojespn: Los Angeles Lakers F Cam Reddish could miss few games with left knee soreness. Reddish has averaged 6.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 33 games. He's started 26."

The Lakers hope with Cam Reddish

The hope is that sitting out for a week or so will help the swelling subside, but as the Lakers saw with Gabe Vincent, knee effusion is not something to mess around with and could develop into a worse injury if not treated properly.
