The new Pau Gasol? Shaq believes a promising NBA star is like the Lakers legend

After Shaquille O'Neal, the best teammate for Kobe Bryant became Pau Gasol, alongside the Spanish big man the black mamba was able to win two titles back-to-back. Gasol recently saw his jersey number to be retired to the rafters at the Crypto.com Arena and also became a new Hall of Famer.

The Lakers Icon Shaquille O'Neal has come out to say that a young center reminds him of a young Pau Gasol which is a great compliment as Gasol was known to be a great big man on the court.

"Alperen Sengun reminds me of a young Pau Gasol... I'd like to see him on a better team." Said Shaquille O'Neal. It would be nice for the Lakers to make a move for Sengun in the upcoming summer and negotiate for the center with the Rockets.

The Lakers are currently short on big man talented after Anthony Davis, as Christian Wood and Jaxson Hayes haven't been able to be the talented backup center they will be looking for.
