The Los Angeles Lakers needed the win over their city rival the LA Clippers ahead of their Wednesday contest but things weren't looking good after the first three quarters of the game where the team was trailing by 19 points.
In the 4th quarter, LeBron James gave an outstanding performance by scoring 19 points to lead the team to make a 21-point comeback against Kawhi Leonard and James Harden to get the win, and with this made history.
The Lakers trailed by 21 points in the 4th quarter, this was the largest final-quarter comeback win by a LeBron James team in his career and impressive record.
Not only that, NBA teams had lost 866 straight games when entering the 4th quarter down 19+ points. LeBron and the purple and gold ended the streak. Once again, LeBron and the Lakers showed the potential they have in the season despite the many struggles shown early on the campaign.
The Lakers won 116-112 and a showtime era legend, Byron Scott surrendered to the King's greatness and gave an epic quote to summarize what the Forward did on Wednesday night: "LeBron, I hope you don't charge your teammates for the ride you just gave 'em on your back."
