The LA Lakers superstar LeBron James continues challenging father time as he keeps playing on the highest level at 39 years old in his year 21 in the NBA, now the Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant has praised the King's longevity.

LeBron James became the first NBA player to have 20 appearances in the All-Star, it didn't go unnoticed and one of his friends and rivals in the league, Kevin Durant got high praise about the Lakers' superstar longevity and how it has become the greatness standard.

"When you are 39 in your 20th year and half of your life is in the league and you have played against 40% of players to have ever played in the league. That longevity has to mean something. That has to be a standard." Said Durant.

In a recent episode of his Boardroom podcast with business partner Rich Kleiman, Durant marveled at James' sustained excellence, particularly at the age of 39, as he prepares for his 20th NBA All-Star appearance. James, a four-time champion and the league's all-time leading scorer, continues to perform at an elite level, defying age with his unwavering dedication to the sport.

Kevin Durant appreciates what LeBron has been doing for the sport

"I truly appreciate someone who has been at sh*t for a long time. You don’t get it until you hit 15 or 16 years in the league, how hard it is to wake up every day, knowing what you know and still come to work and still mesh with other people who are just experiencing this for the first time or don’t know as much as you."Said Durant.
