Trade rumors and reports have the Los Angeles Lakers targeting the Atlanta Hawks star Dejounte Murray and being in constant negotiations for the guard, but also there has been a big step back, that the Hawks could be wanting Austin Reaves and LA has him as untouchable.

These reports have made Lamar Odom vocal on showing that he believes the Lakers should be going for Dejounte Murray and trading Austin Reaves as LA's guard is good but Murray is currently an All-Star caliber player.

Lamar Odom wrote "SMH" on a post that read: "The Lakers are unwilling to trade Austin Reaves in a potential trade for Dejounte Murray, via Mike A. Scotto "The Hawks coveted Lakers guard Austin Reaves in trade talks surrounding Murray but were denied by Los Angeles.”

Odom hints at the idea Reaves should be traded as the Lakers are looking to contend for the NBA title and Murray could help the team get closer to that goal over Austin who has been valuable but still could be away from making LA that a seriously contending team.
