While coach Darvin Ham didn't give him enough opportunities this season, the Japanese wing Rui Hachimura has finally made it to the starting lineup and is showing why he is one of the best players in the team, plus giving continuity from what the group this last season.

Rui Hachimura did alongside Anthony Davis something that LeBron James hasn't been capable of doing with AD in the Lakers. Rui and Davis scored 35+ points each in the same game, something the LA franchise hasn't seen since the Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal days.

Hachimura was also rumored to be traded at the NBA's deadline, but he will be staying in LA and is showing why he should stay for long, as he continues to be solid and his numbers continue to increase.

Against Utah, Rui Hachimura had 75% from three, 68.4% from the field, AND a career-high 36 points. Also, the Japanese wing has been scoring 40% from 3 during all season, great numbers that he has promised will keep improving.

D'Angelo Russell revealed his mindset amid the trading rumors

“I never played to not get traded,” he said. “I was just kinda like, f— it. And that ‘f— it’ allowed me to play my game.” The guard also credited his recent stretch of productive basketball to the idea that he doesn’t get too hung up on what his shooting percentages are. “Guys come in, they care about their percentages, they care about all this stuff and then they struggle,” he said. “As soon as I stopped caring about it, I played my best basketball of my career.”
