The Los Angeles Lakers have been linked to players like Zach LaVine, Dejounte Murray, and more. The team is reportedly looking to upgrade their point guard position from D'Angelo Russell despite his latest performances and been arguably the third-best player of the team just behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Now that Jarred Vanderbilt will be out for multiple weeks due to an injury, the team could be looking for a defensive wing. But the FS1 'Undisputed' analyst Skip Bayless has opened up about what he believes the Lakers front office led by GM Rob Pelinka should do ahead of the trade deadline.
Following the win over the Charlotte Hornets, to now have a 3-game winning streak and beating some of the strongest teams in the Eastern Conference, Bayless believes the team's roster should stay as it has been built:
"The Lakers, 7-19 on the road just last week, are now 10-17 thanks to dominating at Charlotte tonight. This team does not need to make a trade. It just needs to get healthy. IT DEFINITELY CAN CONTEND."
"We've been doing a good job at playing complete team basketball." Said Anthony Davis following his 3rd career triple-double. The Lakers now have a 3-game winning streak with a 27-25 record with .519 in the 9th seed.
