Earlier in the week, an extract of an interview where Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was the guest revealed who the Lakers legend believes is the best point guard of all-time and shocked the NBA world by not having his showtime-era teammate Magic Johnson.
But after a lot of speculation and backlash, the Lakers Icon has now come out with a video released by himself on his Twitter account, that he has meditated and changed his mind regarding that answer.
This came out after the recent debate of who is the best point guard of all-time between Steph Curry and Magic Johnson, as the Golden State Warriors superstar placed himself as the PG GOAT.
Kareem said in the earlier interview that for him neither of those point guards were the best but Oscar Robinson, and with that answer many wondered why not Magic. Abdul-Jabbar has now changed his mind.
Kareem regrets that answer and has clarified on a newly released video that Magic is the number one PG ever: "A couple of days ago a reporter asked me who I thought the best point guard was in @NBA After giving it some more thought I wanted @Lakers @MagicJohnson fans to hear my further thoughts..." Kareem came to say that with Magic he won five NBA championship titles and that it was his best teammate ever.
