Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell

The Los Angeles Lakers got one of their most impressive wins against the Golden State Warriors despite many missing calls by NBA refs

Draymond Green has returned to the court after the suspension he got by the NBA, and with the Warriors star revealing that the commissioner of the league Adam Silver prevented him from retiring, it seems the league is going easy on him.

Green got different fouls, some were called but most of them weren't and even should've gotten a flagrant, even in the play where Steph Curry scored what was the 3-point dagger that got the partial win for Golden State with only 4 seconds left on the clock, the guard was alone to take the shot thanks to a clear foul the NBA refs failed to call against Jarred Vanderbilt.

The NBA instead, has announced they have fined D'Angelo Russell $15,000 for kicking the ball into the stands from the Lakers game vs. the Warriors on Saturday. The official statement reads:

"LAKERS' D'ANGELO RUSSELL FINED. NEW YORK, Jan 29, 2024 - Los Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell has been fined $15,000 for kicking the game ball into the spectator stands, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations. The incident occurred following the conclusion of the Lakers' 145-144 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Jan. 27 at Chase Center."

The Lakers’ win over the Warriors marked the team’s second victory in a row. The team picked up a nine-point home win against the Chicago Bulls on Jan. 25. Los Angeles is now just a game-and-a-half back of the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference standings for the No. 8 seed.
