Not only the Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling with many of its players being out due to injuries, but also some of their offseason signings haven't performed as expected in the first 35 games of the 2023-24 campaign.
Taurean Prince has been hit and miss, more consistency is expected of him, especially from his 3-point shooting, as the wing promised to be in the upperside of 40% but he has been struggling most of the games with his 3-point efficacy.
Cam Reddish also has been consistent, after becoming a starter he gave some good performances but then started to get injured and inconsistent. Now both players gave some of their worst games this Wednesday night against the Miami Heat as neither of them scored a single point.
Unlike former Laker Malik Monk who in the same night game an outstanding performance scoring 37 points (12/20 FG), 7/13 from 3, the entire Lakers team went 4/30 from 3 vs. Miami, 9 assists and 2 steals, which has many fans mad at GM Rob Pelinka forever getting rid of him.
Austin Reaves on the vibe in the Lakers locker room after the loss to Miami: "Shitty, we're losing. Any time you lose the vibe should be off. If we go in there and the vibe wasn't off, then I'd be concerned. I don't expect for us to be happy with how we've played."
