Last NBA MVP winner Joel Embiid will be missing several games after suffering an injury, to which LeBron James reacted and gave a shot at the media that were hard on the 76ers superstar as he wrote on X: "Where are all the media outlets, tv media personalities, hot takes that talked so much about Joel Embiid about missing those games when he knew what he was dealing with.
Now he’s out with an injury because of it. Not 1 person has gone back on tv or their dumbass podcast and apologized to that MAN!! No accountability."
Of course, this post didn't go unnoticed and one NBA media analyst who has reacted to it is ESPN's Stephen A. Smith who posted a video saying: "LeBron James, why are you lying?" Said Stephen A. Smith. "Who talked about Joel Embiid and questioned his injury? What they were making the argument about is that if you could have played in Golden State against the Warriors then you could have played a couple of games earlier against the reigning defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets.
What they were saying is he hadn't suffered that injury until he got fallen on by Kuminga during the Warriors game but prior to that he was working out pre game in Denver and then was pulled off the court. So tell you facts."
LeBron responded to a tweet about Trae Young deserving a spot as an NBA All-Star and wrote: "AGREED!!! I’m not quite understanding this! Cause it can’t be about Ws/Ls cause cats have definitely gotten in with wayyy nastier records in the past. He be cooking EVERY NIGHT! Stop it! He’s an All- for sure. Something is REAL (fish emoji)-E."
