LeBron James is looking unstoppable in his year 21 in the NBA despite the fact he recently turned 39 years old. The King continues to be the best player on the court but at the end of this season he will become a free agent and it is unknown if his career will continue with the purple and gold.
It seems that this season is critical for the Lakers and LeBron James regarding their future together, as both sides have the ultimate goal in common of winning the NBA title, but recent struggles could suggest the team won't be able to accomplish it and James could get tired and looked to other options.
The Lakers legend Phil Jackson, last year gave some advice to the Lakers front office, including the governor and owner Jeanie Buss and GM Rob Pelinka, advice that still applies to trading LeBron while they still can get the most they can from him while there's still time.
According to a rumor, and a recent post by NBA in Spanish, Jackson said that the Lakers can't keep relying on a single player who is getting closer to retirement and that the day he leaves the team would be finished, believing the team should get some good players for the King.
A recent report by ESPN's Brian Windhorst said that the Miami Heat are scouting Bronny James, LeBron's son who will be available to be Drafted the next offseason. LeBron has stated one of his ultimate goals is to play alongside Bronny on the same NBA team, so if Miami drafted Bronny, LeBron could be back to the franchise where he got to win two NBA titles alongside Dwyane Wade.
